What this site stores, which is close to nothing.
The short version
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds nothing from anybody else and makes no request to a third-party server. Fonts, images, scripts and styles are served from foraris.com Nothing you type into a studio, a checklist or the compass leaves your device.

Server log files
The hosting provider stores standard access data: the requesting page, the file requested, the status code, the amount of data transferred, the referrer, the browser and operating system, and the IP address. This is done on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to operate and secure the service, and the data is deleted after seven days at the latest.
Contact form and newsletter
If you send a message, the name, email address, subject and message text are transmitted to us by email and stored for the purpose of answering. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR. If you subscribe to the letter, your address is stored solely to send it. Every letter carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes the address.
Department votes
A vote in a department poll transmits only the identifier of the poll and the option chosen. No identifier, no IP address and no cookie is stored with it, and the totals are aggregated.
Local storage
The studios, the checklists, The Foraris 50 and the light or dark setting use your browser's local storage under the prefix foraris. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us. Clearing your browser's site data removes all of it.
Your rights
You have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority. Write to info@foraris.com and it will be handled within the statutory period.
Hosting
This site is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd, 61 Lordou Vironos, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus, on the basis of a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR.
